Anyone who is familiar with my ministry and life will testify that I emphasize the importance of prayer.   I’m not referring to merely saying prayers, but actually communicating with God.   I have discovered through years of ministry that unless one is in trouble, he or she will usually pray very little if any at all.     Therefore, I challenge people to pray.   However, to be honest and fair, prayer is a most difficult activity.   That is because to the natural mind, prayer is foolishness.   In fact, people who pray appear to be talking to themselves, or to the wind.   For that reason alone most professing Christians don’t pray.   Most of the very few that   have no prayer life, yet believe they should serve God, attempt to do so according to their natural ability.   They fail repeatedly, and usually settle back into something they can accomplish without prayer.   Sadly, they never achieve their potential and are no sig...

I wish there were a warning label with every offering of deception. It ought to read, “Danger: ingesting deception has been known to cause sin, rebellion, hedonism, hypocrisy, delusion, and may be fatal.” Instead the warning is in God's Word. There are also warnings that come from people whom God sends. But sometimes warnings are not enough. Some people are so strongly deceived that a clear picture has to be presented so they can understand and be delivered. Here is the clear picture. I will begin with this passage from Jeremiah. “The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. Christ said, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.” (John 9:4) Obviously, when spiritual darkness reaches critical mass, no one can do the works of God that are done in normal times. One only has to consider the apostasies of Israel in the Scriptures to know this is true. The fact is that the Scriptures predict such a time of great darkness before the Second Coming of Christ. There will not be many souls saved, not many true healings and other valid manifestations of God's power. Instead, there will be doldrums and many false prophets and teachers performing lying signs and wonders. In other words, it will not be business as usual. Professing Christians that are used to getting a spiritual high from these signs to prop up their sagging faith will flock to the false ones. This election is difficult to comment on or write about. I have so many things to say to individuals that plan to vote for Obama. If they cannot recognize the man's diabolical nature, his disastrous management of foreign policy and our nation's economy, stifling businesses with hostile regulations, illegal use of executive orders, blatant rejection of Israel, his Islamic favoritism, Marxist and Socialist tendencies, Obama Care that is driving American businesses out of the country, and the multitudinous improprieties and misuse of the presidency to reward cronies, not to mention his class warfare and other divisive activities, then they are delusional. The strength of their delusion is apparent in the fact that many of them have declared that they will vote for him no matter what.
